From East to West - success drives growth for Fiscale

Suffolk based Research and Development Tax Credit specialists, Fiscale, has appointed a Regional Director to head up its representation in the West Midlands and Cheshire. Experienced business woman Jacqui Stoneman joins the team at Fiscale to take responsibility for introducing the specialised R & D tax credit services to businesses in the new region.

Fiscale was established in February 2014 to help businesses located in the East of England to maximise the opportunities arising from the Research & Development Tax Credit scheme operated by HM Revenue and Customs. The company has grown way beyond initial expectations, smashing the targets set in their forecasts for the first year of trading in just 8 months. In the course of a year the Fiscale team has expanded from 2 to 7 with plans for further recruitment in the pipeline.

Jacqui Stoneman has a number of business interests in Suffolk and Essex including ownership of a highly successful nursery school and a management consultancy. A published author of a careers advice book for students, "Who am I and what do I want to achieve", Jacqui has a genuine interest in helping young people bridge the gap between education and the work place.

John Mayhew, chairman of Fiscale comments,

"Shortly after we started working with Jacqui it was clear that she really understood our business and was enthused by the positive impact that R & D Tax Credit Relief can bring to an organisation. She has been a great advocate for Fiscale.

When we heard Jacqui was relocating away from East Anglia for family reasons it seemed like a fantastic opportunity to harness her business development skills and enthusiasm for the R & D Tax Credit scheme in a new area. We decided that representation in the West Midlands would be a smart move given our success in East Anglia. With over 32% of the claims for R & D Tax Credit being made by manufacturing companies it makes a lot of sense to have a representative in our industrial heartland of the Midlands.

We are excited that Jacqui has accepted the role of Regional Director and are confident she will use her extensive skill set to establish a successful operation in this part of the country."

Fiscale has a 100% success rate for the R & D Tax Credit claims that have been submitted on behalf of the clients. With an average initial claim of £45,000 per client and Corporation Tax Gains totalling £1.7 million the team has made a significant difference to the clients that they work with.

Chris Grover, MD of software company DataStation explains,

"I have no hesitation in recommending Fiscale to other businesses. This is one situation where the old adage 'if you think it's too good to be true it probably is', does not apply. For a few of hours of my time, under the expert guidance of Fiscale, I have secured a significant amount of money from the R & D Tax Credit scheme to reinvest in my business."
